This is an international eCommerce site for a company based in Africa. The site is still in development as we continue to work with the Business owners to create an online store to showcase their content offerings.

This is a Content and Affiliate website. The website is for the Fitness niche. It also presents digital ads to viewers.

SOLUTION OUTLINE

DEMG will build your website using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). This CMS is used by more than a million brands around the world and is known for its ease of use, security and scalability. The CMS design will also allow for seamless updates, integration with analytical tools and posting of content for your clients or customers to consume.

We will create a menu based site design. Your company can create as many menu options as desired. Each menu option can contain as many sub-menu links you desire also.

We will add integration tools to add and improve analytics, performance and marketing. These tools will help get your site viewed by potential clients or customers, and improve the site's performance.

FEATURES

DEMG will incorporate the following features and tools into your website. We will develop your website using modern technologies. This will ensure that your website is capable of supporting a high volume of traffic while remaining protected from malicious entities.

Theme Design

  • This is the main foundation for your website. It controls the standardization of your website. It includes things like typography, color palettes, headers, footers, backgrounds and page layouts.
  • We will create your website using a standardized color palette of your choice. Things like button colors and headers will all have the same look and feel across all pages. This will present a polished and professional appearance.

Responsiveness

  • Responsiveness refers to sizing the website for phones, tablets as well as desktop viewing.
  • We will size the entire website and test it to ensure it displays correctly on all media formats. This includes sizing of buttons, pictures, text and all displayable objects.

Website Dynamics

  • Website Dynamics refers to animation of buttons, hover actions or basic animation of certain fields or boxes.
  • We will include basic animations such as changing button colors when a user hovers over it. We will also add animation to clickable objects, like shrinking it on hover. This alerts the user that the item is an action item.
  • We will also add some dynamics to the overall design to provide a clean and professional presentation.

Performance

  • We will design the website with performance and response times in mind from the start.
  • We will use minimal heavy processing methods with a clean design. This will alleviate the website from having to execute burdensome code during refreshes.
  • We will integrate the website with a caching tool. This tool will allow the website to be easily cached by network providers and browsers. If no changes have been made to the site then it will present the cached copy to searchers on the internet. The website will not have to recompile between refreshes - which improves speed tremendously.

Security

  • We will create one Admin account that will be provided to the Business owner. The Business owner will change the password, so it will only be known by them.
  • We will create a temporary Service Account that will be used by DEMG for development or making any changes. The password will be disabled by the Business after use. The Business will provide a new temporary Service Account password for any new or additional development.
  • A security tool will be implemented into the website. The tool will perform scans for malware and clean if infected. The tool will also provide Firewall protection to block Brute Force and DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.
  • The security tool integration will keep track of changes, logins and failed logins. It will also proactively block malicious traffic. In addition, the tool will protect the website's database by guarding against SQL injections and XSS attacks.

Backup - Contingency Planning

  • We will integrate a backup solution in the website. This solution will create full backups automatically based on a set schedule.
  • The backups can be used to restore the website to a point in time if any unforseen event should occur. A complete copy of the website can be restored in short order if the existing website is affected in any way - including a hacking event.

SEO - Search Engine Optimization

  • SEO refers to methods used to get a website ranked higher in search engines, like Google or Bing.
  • We will implement Best Practices that help search engines index the website. This will assist with users finding the website when doing searches for services provided by the Business.
  • We will help the Business plan out strategies that improve SEO and incorporate those plans into the design of the website.

External Sites & Social Media Account Linking

  • We will provide links to any internal or external pages or sources. We can also link to social media accounts and make them available to users of the website.
  • We can link to other websites or page sources required by the Business. The Business may require the resources of other websites or tracking sites. We will provide links to those resources.

  • All Major Changes Will Incur an A La Carte Fee Charge on Day 31 Post Project Delivery.
